Field Expeditions

Field expeditions help students connect real world experiences to in-class instruction.

Most recently, our students in grades 6th, 7th & 8th visited Yale West Campus Molecular Innovation Center, for state-of-the-art science laboratory hands on experience

during a Field Expedition. The students participated in this educational program, where they worked at the Yale Science Lab separating the pigments in leaves and the understanding of why leaves change colors.

The students also experienced the connection between the science labs and urban farms on campus. This is a start to our state of the art innovative programming partnerships.
