Ms. Meghan Flynn comes to OLM Prep with 17 years of middle school science teaching and advisory experience at The Country School, private math and science tutoring, as well as several years of mathematics instruction for the SSAT preparatory program. Prior to transitioning to education, Meghan was a medical chemist at Bayer Pharmaceuticals in West Haven. Meghan received her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College and her masters degree in Science Education from Southern Connecticut State University. Meghan believes in asking her students to achieve their highest, while focusing on developing their personal learning strategies in order to become lifelong learners. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to focus her teaching on mathematics for grades 6-8, and to be able to return to her passion for ancient history by taking on the 6th grade Social Studies curriculum.
