¡Hola! I am Maestra Swanson and I am OLM’s Spanish teacher. I have taught for over 15 years in various Spanish programs in CA, IL and now CT, including an elementary bilingual program for native Spanish speakers and a dual language immersion program for first graders. The immersion program had both English and Spanish speakers and the majority of the day was taught in Spanish. I taught elementary Spanish in Guilford Public Schools for the three years before 2020. I am an avid salsa dancer and I plan to teach my students to dance.
